4TH NEPHI

Church flourishes and people live righteously for 200 years. When Nephi the disciple dies, his descendants, Amos, Amos his son, and Amos’s brother Ammaron continue to write on the Plates. After 200 years people become worldly and divide into classes. Many apostate churches arise. An anti-Christ church arises and persecutes members of the true Church of Christ. Disciples continue to perform miracles but people harden hearts against truth. Apostates become more wicked and are called Lamanites. Wicked Gadianton cult again forms. Nephites become wicked like Lamanites. Only disciples of Christ remain righteous. The Holy Ghost has Ammaron hide the Plates. Three Nephites depart.
