MOSIAH, ABOUT 130 - 91 B.C.

King Mosiah I leads righteous Nephites to Zarahemla. His son, King Benjamin gives memorable speech to combined Nephites and Zarahemlans and everyone covenants to be righteous Christians. Group goes back to the first Nephite settlement with Zeniff and later become wicked under wicked King Noah. They kill the prophet, Abinadi. Alma converted to Christ by Abinadi and the Holy Ghost. Lamanites enslave the rest. Group of Nephites finds records of destroyed Jaredites. After tribulations, the Lord leads Alma and followers to Zarahemla. Alma the Younger and sons of Mosiah II are wicked, but repent after powerful visitation by an angel. Alma the Elder and King Mosiah die and King Mosiah’s sons refuse kingship. Alma the Younger is voted in as High Judge over the land.
